We are a 501c3 Nonprofit registered with the California Secretary of State that is dedicated to protecting the youth and public of the United States by providing
educational outreach and health resources to mitigate the occurrence and effects of Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting
(FGM/C).
The Bay Area is the human trafficking capital of the United States. As such, associated forms of gender-based violence are elevated, with California having the 56,872 cases of FGM/C, or, the highest amount of documented FGM/C cases in the entire nation. Thus, we are headquartered in the Bay Area (Northern California) and are open to partnering transnationally to prevent gender-based violence.

Incorporated in 2024, we were conceived by local activists Samyuktha Rajagopalan (CEO and Chairperson of the Board), Paley Holloman-Kincaid (Chief Financial Officer), and Alina Schear (Secretary).
Samyuktha came across the practice as a child and she knew she had to act. Recruiting Paley and Alina, two enthusiastic reform-minded individuals, the three of them formed The Midnimo Education Project.

We encourage people to start their advocacy to prevent FGM/C by looking at our helpful tips published on our platforms.
We also connect with our local communities through clinics with community organizations, interviewing survivors and experts. If you would are interested in working with us, do reach out!
