Certified Medical Interpreting
Many people who have experienced or are at risk of FGM/C suffer a language-treatment barrier, where they may be unable to communicate their needs to a physician. Medical Interpreters, professionals that provides real time translations from patient to physician, can help bridge this gap, offering survivors a voice in their healthcare. Yet, Medical Interpreters are a scarcity in California with only 738 in a state of 39.4 million people, and certification can be costly. We are committed to increasing the number of Certified Medical Interpreters, thereby increasing FGM/C healthcare advocacy, by offering scholarships to fully fund the certification process.

Educational Awareness
Public awareness and recognition of FGM/C is vital to reform and healing. We provide educational resources through social media and the publication of articles on inclusive terminology, common practices, legislation, research paper simplifications, and "how to help". Through these outlets, we debunk harmful myths, mobilizing our viewing audience as agents of change.
Survivor Interviews
We have the honor of interviewing and publishing the voices of survivors of FGM/C and other forms of Gender-Based Violence. The publication of these first-hand accounts gives survivors a platform, and viewers an outlet to expand their cultural awareness of FGM/C.
